Prompt #7- Commit to learning something NEW today. Show us a photo of what you’ve decided to learn.

Not only did I learn some new chords on my spiffy ol’ guitar, I also started to write my very first actual song. Before I would just mess with some chords and sing random lyrics, but this time I’m actually making this legit. I’m thinking I’ll make the video to my finished product for Charlie Challenge day 4? 

Prompt #6- Write a short story about the time you got lost

From the first time I saw him I knew I was in trouble. His brown hair, his brown eyes. We didn’t even need to speak, I felt a connection with him. I would see him sitting there across the room, but I could never work up the nerve to start a conversation with him. At that time I was invisible. A couple years past and we grew older, grew more mature, grew up together with our friends. We started texting, talking, calling, hanging out. I fell for him and he fell for me, what I thought was impossible. I came to know him as not only my best friend, but the man I gave my heart to. I could tell him anything, my fears, my hopes, my dreams, and he would listen and care. [I FIND IT NECESSARY TO INTERRUPT MYSELF WITH THIS UPDATE: THE MOSQUITO HAS BEEN FOUND AND DISPOSED OF. THANK YOU.] Not that I was experienced in this realm of men, but I knew that what we had was something special, something you don’t see every day and apparently he thought so too. We fell in love. And what a beautiful, inspiring love it was. Until one day he felt that he loved me too much. Two years had past, 2 years that I can’t let go of to this day. So many memories are wrapped up in two years, it’s not easy to forget them. Most of them were so, so good, very few were bad. And yet the tears and heart ache is what stands out most prominent of all. Because I had gotten lost, lost in love. [AWWW CRAP NOW THERE IS ANOTHER MOSQUITO IN MY ROOM. THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG NIGHT.]

Prompt #4: Sing along to your favorite song on YouTube. Bonus: Learn how to play AND sing

All right, this is going to have to be a work in progress because my webcam isn’t working and for some reason my phone isn’t letting me send a video to Youtube or my email because the file is too big… but it really isn’t…. so yeah. Hopefully I’ll remember to get back around to this one!

THERE IS A MOSQUITO IN MY ROOM. I CAN HEAR IT. BUT I CANNOT SEE IT.

Therefore I cannot sleep until I do. Otherwise in my sleep I will be itchy all night and start scratching myself and before this has led to really weird like gashes… Wow that’s so gross. If you’re reading this, I’m sorry to have made you thrown up a bit.

ANYWAYS. I think I’m going to go for a run tomorrow morning before work. That sounds nice to me. I did a super intense workout just about a half hour ago. Started it at around 10. I’m going to be so sore at work tomorrow, but oh well. 

Aaaaaaaand now I’m off to do some Charlie challenges!
